Students parking permits
Victoria University of Wellington Students’ Association (VUWSA) manage a small number of student parks around the Kelburn campus. Students who wish to park in any of the Pay and Display parking locations can order a permit from VUWSA to park at a discounted rate.
Students with a parking permit must:
- must ensure your student parking permit is displayed and you have paid for your parking, otherwise you run the risk of receiving a breach notice
- must adhere to the rules and regulations
- must not use any of the other carpark areas on campus.
Mobility car parking
Mobility car parking is available for students with disabilities through Disability Services.
Motorcycles
Permits are not required for motorcycles or scooters and a number of designated areas have been provided. Parking elsewhere may cause a hazard and result in an infringement notice.

Bicycle cages are also available in the basement of the Alan MacDiarmid Building, beside the Von Zedlitz Building, and in the basement of Rutherford House. These are marked on campus parking maps.
Bicycles must not be kept in offices, corridors, or access ways. This is for the safety of building occupants in an emergency and to prevent damage to paintwork and flooring,
